Discover Wild Turkeys at PPL’s Montour Environmental Preserve

The public is invited for discussions and activities about turkeys from 1:30-3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 22, at PPL’s Montour Environmental Preserve. PPL Senior Naturalist Jon Beam and Naturalist Amanda Jenkins will discuss nearly everything there is to know about turkeys from how they make their living to how they almost became our national symbol. There will also be fun-filled activities. This free program is for children ages 8 to 14, and advanced registration is required. Meet at the PPL Montour Preserve Environmental Education Center.
