Montoursville - In order to assist travelers to the Elysburg area and Knoebel's Amusement Resort which is scheduled to reopen this weekend, PennDOT offers the following travel suggestion:

For traffic coming from the east, use Interstate 80 westbound to Exit 224 (Danville) and follow Route 54 through Danville to Elysburg. At the traffic light at SR 487, turn left to the park.

Lake Chillisquaque Reopened

Lake Chillisquaque reopened to boating and fishing late this morning. Picnic areas are also open as is the Visitors Center. Trails, however, will be closed for repair and maintenance until possibly September 26. Programs will continue as scheduled.
