Dushore-Overton Road Bridge Deck Replacement Completed; Detour Lifted

Montoursville - A PennDOT maintenance crew in Sullivan County has completed a bridge rehabilitation project on State Route 4018 (Dushore-Overton Road) in Cherry Township.

The detour has been lifted.

The PennDOT bridge crew replaced the deck on the bridge over Lick Creek, which is about two miles west of Dushore.

Montoursville - A PennDOT maintenance crew in Sullivan County will begin a bridge rehabilitation project on State Route 4018 (Overton Road) in Cherry Township on Monday, July 18.

Starting that morning, a four-week detour will be implemented using Route 220 to New Albany, Overton Road and Hottensteins Hill Road. more»

Route 87 Closed in Part of Sullivan County Tonight

Montoursville – Route 87 is closed at this hour between Route 154 at Forksville and Route 220 near Dushore in Sullivan County.

There are reports of multiple trees and power lines down along that section of Route 87.

The road is expected to remain closed through the night.

Commerce Park Drive Burglary – PSP Montoursville report a self-storage business in Loyalsock Township was burglarized between the hours of 4 p.m. and midnight on Friday, February 25. Trooper Mitchel McMunn reports that an unknown individual(s) cut the fence of Catch All Self Storage, 1304 Commerce Park Drive.
