Kohl's: Officially Open

Kohl's department store opened its retail doors to the public on Sunday, Sept. 25. The store, located at 201 W. Third Street, Williamsport, will employ nearly 150 people. A more formal grand opening occurs this Wednesday, Sept. 28.

DuBoistown Bridge Causeway Move Starts Monday

Montoursville - The contractor building the new DuBoistown Bridge between DuBoistown and Williamsport plans to begin moving the causeway from the north side of the river to the south side on Monday, Aug. 22.

Susquehanna Supply Co. will move the rocks that comprise the causeway (work area) in the river from the Williamsport side to the DuBoistown side. more»

 Yancy James Mort, 40, a resident of 2151 Main Street, Dewart, passed away on Tuesday, April 19, 2011.

He was born in Allentown, PA, on Tuesday, July 28, 1970 and was a 1988 graduate of Salisbury High School at Allentown.

Yancy proudly served during the Gulf War as a Lance Corporal with the U.S. Marines. He was self-employed. more»
