"It seemed to me that I was hearing the voice of God" moans Salieri in despair after hearing Mozart's Gran Partita in Peter Shaffer's play Amadeus. The woodwinds and horns of the WSO will have their audience feeling only delight at this incomparable masterwork. Brahms's elegaic Trio for Clarinet, Cello, and Piano completes the program.
