Quehanna Area Trails Club September Hike

The QATC will lead on September 10 a moderate 4-mile hike in the Moshannon and Elk State Forests, walking Deibel Road, Porcupine Draft (Quehanna Trail), to Red Run Road.  Meet off the Quehanna Highway and Deibel Road, aka Lincoln Road by Smokey the Bear (near Mile Marker 11)--a little ways in opposite the DCNR Maintenance building at 9:30 a.m.  Bring lunch and water.  If questionable weather or for more information, check with Bob Merrill, bndmerrill@verizon.net or 814-371-7416.  An adult must be with youth under age 16. Everyone is welcome to join a hike (no membership needed).
