Lake Chillisquaque Now Open

The Chilisuagi Trail that goes around the lake is now open again for public use.

"Everything is now open and getting back to normal," Jon Beam, Montour Preserve Program Director said.

Due to flooding, Lake Chillisquaque, Goose Woods Trail and the Chilisuagi Trail were closed to recreation activities. Lake Chillisquaque was in emergency flood mode and water was running over the emergency spillway creating unsafe conditions.
