- Biography
C.A. Keller graduated from Juniata College, Huntingdon, in 2005, where she majored in Spanish and writing. She’s the author of a guidebook, “Juniata College Off the Record,” published by College Prowler.com in 2005, and from 2006 to 2007 she worked as the entertainment editor at the Williamsport Sun-Gazette.
However, Keller found that always hearing about what other artists in town were doing, without creating anything herself, was hard. So, that summer, she left with friends for Tucson, Arizona, on a mission to concentrate on her fiction.
One might call this venture a reckless journey along the path to self-discovery. What Keller ultimately discovered was that she’s a hopelessly elitist Yankee snob. Also, the desert is hot in August. So, she moved back. This is a very difficult thing to explain to potential employers, so Keller now works at Starbucks. It’s very glamorous.
The author of the now-deceased humor column “Postgrad Madness,” Keller still indulges her love of writing by working as a freelancer. She’s also a certified (but non-practicing) teacher of English as a Second Language, a would-be yogi, and a regular contributor to Williamsport's Guardian, as well as NorthcentralPA.com.
An unabashed travel addict, Keller studied abroad in Toronto, Canada; Seville, Spain and Orizaba, Mexico. She’s ventured repeatedly to Europe and is now eager to conquer South America.
The only thing Keller loves more than traveling is her cat, Baloo. He loves her mother better.
